Charters Towers is a region renowned for its vehicle touring opportunities.

Not only is the trip into town a stunning drive in its own right along well sealed highway roads, but once you are set up in Charters Towers there are an array of touring routes open to you to explore.

This ensures that a visit to the town to take in its World War One military heritage can also embrace the array of other heritage experiences on offer in this famous gold mining region.
